Dr. Tiffany Osborn: 70-80% of people do fine with COVID-19

Dr. Tiffany Osborn, MD, MPH, serves for the CDC and works in the surgical / trauma Intensive Care Unit and Emergency Department at Washington University School of Medicine. She took the time to speak to the DGS about COVID-19... how worried should we be? Dr. Osborn notes that most people who contract COVID-19 end up being fine, but we must be extremely careful because the disease is extremely infectious. She also pushes that the BEST way to treat COVID is to not get it. Dr. Osborn is so focused on the importance of social distancing, she is currently staying in a camper in her driveway in order to protect her family at home as she fights the virus.

We also spoke at length on the show yesterday about the CDC recommendation to cover your face in public, which can be found here:

This is mainly to protect the people around you from inhaling the particles that come out of your mouth. If you don't have a mask, you can easily make one at home!
