ST. LOUIS (KMOX) - St. Louis Blues nation is heartbroken after learning legendary defenseman, coach, radio analyst, team ambassador and friend to us all, Bobby Plager, died in a car accident on Wednesday afternoon in St. Louis.

Social media feeds have been filled with an outpouring of love and memories of "No. 5 in our program, but No. 1 in our hearts," as Plager used to say.

When I showed him my Bobby Plager tattoo he said “you must be some kind of NUT!”
We had a good laugh about it, he was shocked as he’d never seen a Plager tattoo before, said “You are a true Blue”!
