H.E.R.O.E.S. Care

H.E.R.O.E.S. Care had a simple beginning; sending care packages to those deployed. Over the years, it has grown to a powerhouse of support for our troops and their families through programs designed for the needs of the present and future.

H.E.R.O.E.S. Care has touched the lives of hundreds of thousands of military members. From thousands of care packages to providing direct emergency grants for those deployed totaling more than $1.3 million, distributing more than $157 million in donated products, running seven food pantries, training thousands of volunteers that provide support to deployed spouses, freely giving more than 600,000 diapers per year to struggling military families, providing hundreds of thousands of toys at Christmas and yearly “Suiting a Vet” events.

All this while maintaining the highest ratings with Charity Navigator, Guidestar, Great NonProfits, and the BBB.

Here’s to making a better life for those who have and are still giving so much.

ABOUT
All children deserve a safe, comfortable place to lay their heads. In Idaho and across the US, too many boys and girls go without a bed—or even a pillow—to sleep on. These children end up sleeping on couches, blankets, and even floors. This can affect their happiness and health. That’s where Sleep in Heavenly Peace comes in. We’re a group of volunteers dedicated to building, assembling, and delivering top-notch bunk beds to children and families in need. Our organization has grown steadily over time, and we’re working on opening more chapters in different states to serve more people.

FOCUS MARINES FOUNDATION

FOCUS Marines Foundation was created in 2010 by Marines who served in the Corps years ago. Following active service, they lived productive and rewarding lives. Their mission is to develop and administer programs for wounded warriors which will assist them in their transition from military to civilian lives.

Through Conservatives Care, the mission of 97.1 FM Talk is to turn the spotlight on charitable organizations as we work together to make our community a better place.

RESPONDER RESCUE

The mission of Responder Rescue is to provide assistance; emotional, tangible, or monetary, to any area first responders, who have been injured, become ill, or suffered a traumatic situation after all other resources have been exhausted as funds permit. Each day, thousands of police officers, firefighters, and EMS workers strive to keep each one of us safe. While we often see these men and women as daily heroes, they still face injury, illness, and traumatic events; on and off duty. Unfortunately, there is only so much their insurance companies and the departments they work for can do to help. Responder Rescue, a 501(c)(3) organization, was established in 2009 by a St. Louis metro area fire Captain who saw this unmet need. As a result, Responder Rescue's goal is to help provide additional financial and emotional assistance to these men and women.

Responder Rescue is hosting an ATF Raffle. The Responder Rescue raffle items include an AR-style rifle and training course at The Range St. Louis West, a yearly membership at The Range St. Louis West, a box of cigars and a yearly membership to the LIT Cigar Lounge, and a basket of fine Bourbon! Visit ResponderRescue.org or The Range St. Louis West to enter to win. All proceeds are donated to Responder Rescue.
