St. Louis County Council to vote on no-confidence resolution against police chief

St. Louis County Council Chair Rita Heard Days is calling for a no-confidence vote from fellow council members against St. Louis County Police Chief Mary Barton.

The resolution is on Tuesday’s council meeting agenda.

Councilman Tim Fitch believes the concerns over Chief Barton are unwarranted.

“She has had the deck stacked against her since day one,” says Fitch.

Even if the measure passes, police personal changes are dictated by the Board of Police Commissioners. Tonight’s council meeting will take place at 6:30 p.m. WATCH HERE.
