Associate Editor of HotAir, David Strom joins the Mark Reardon Show to discuss why he says Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) is destroying academia.
“I saw this process starting back when I was in graduate school where I saw the social sciences getting invaded and it really got to the point where your sole qualification… was the color of your skin where they were talking about racial diversity. But they have now moved far beyond that. In fact, reaching is no longer nearly as important as it used to be now. It's ideological purity,” Shared Strom.
Later he continued, “So while you were in college and graduate school, you had to be an activist for diversity equity, and inclusion. And then you have to outline a plan for how you're going to use your academic position to advance uh diversity equity and inclusion. And so, you know, this explains why a black conservative can't get hired uh you know, because they no longer fit the diversity.”
