A crew of Garland, Tx., firefighters went above and beyond the call of duty over the weekend.

On Saturday, a Garland man suffered a heart attack while mowing his front yard. After paramedics rushed him to the hospital, and he's believed to now be in stable condition, the crew noticed that his yard was only half mowed. So, they took it upon themselves to rev up his lawn mower and finish the job for him.

Commanders say an action like this may not seem very flashy but it makes a small difference in the life of a citizen and their family.
