If you've been to one of Donald Trump's rallies or seen coverage of them -- and who among us hasn't -- you'd note his references to 'enemies of the people' who have to be destroyed. But who are these people?

“The crazy lunatics that we have — the fascists, the Marxists, the communists, the people that we have that are actually running the country,” Trump said this month at a rally in Wisconsin. “Those people are more dangerous — the enemy from within — than Russia and China and other people.”

Media outlets dove in recently, cataloging the names Trump has floated as 'enemies of the people' he'd like to crush if he's re-elected. He's never expressly revealed the complete list, but these are the names and groups culled from Axios, the Associated Press and CNN.

He usually stays general with an enemies list of "the radical left," communists, the deep state, people who have prosecuted him for or accused him of crimes, Democrats in general, the media. But sometimes he names them directly:

On that enemies list is CBS, which he has said should have its broadcast license pulled for editing a Kamala Harris interview to shorten an answer; Adam Schiff, the Democratic senator from California who heavily criticized his veneration of alleged murderer and definite dictator Vladimir Putin; Nancy Pelosi, former Speaker of the House, who battled him during his entire four years in office and who he has said should be investigated for 'insider trading'; the media and most of its major TV and newspaper outlets, which he has vocally called an 'enemy of the people,' for years.

Axios identified more enemies as Hillary Clinton, who beat him in the popular vote in 2016 but lost the electoral college; his presidential opponent Vice President Kamala Harris, of course, for too many reasons to list; President Joe Biden, who he has said should be impeached and indicted and has promised to bring a special prosecutor against; former President Barack Obama, who he ran a birther conspiracy against and who now mocks him on the campaign trail as a crybaby; Congresswoman Liz Cheney, who ran an investigation against his actions on January 6, and who he has said "should go to jail"; and Retired Gen. Mark Milley, former chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff who called Trump a fascist and who Trump said should be executed.

There are also companies as broad as Google -- for displaying negative stories about him -- and people as specific as local election workers, who he threatened with a social media post. It said he would send to jail "Lawyers, Political Operatives, Donors, Illegal Voters, & Corrupt Election Officials" who engage in "unscrupulous behavior."

An NPR analysis found that Trump has threatened 100 times to imprison people or groups of people for being "enemies."

Kamala Harris has capitalized on his public ruminations about enemies, running ads and saying in speeches that after Nov. 5 "it’s either Donald Trump in there stewing over his enemies list, or me, working for you, checking off my to-do list."
