The world’s most famous groundhog is now a dad.
Punxsutawney Phil’s partner Phyllis has given birth to two baby groundhogs.
Phil’s handlers posted on Facebook the babies are healthy and currently spending time with mom and dad at the zoo located inside the Punxsutawney Memorial Library, where Phil lives year-round.
Visitors can see Phil, Phyllis and the babies through the viewing window in the library.
Phil predicted an early spring this past Groundhog Day, when he did not see his shadow.
Maybe knowing Phyllis was expecting helped influence his prediction!?
