White House Correspondent for Gray TV, Jon Decker joined Marc to comment on Pres Joe Biden's statement following a suspected ISIS-led suicide bombing in Kabul yesterday that killed more than a dozen American service members.
Decker says the US intelligence services are aware of more of a threat in the future, "concern of more attacks, we heard that yesterday from the Marine General that was speaking at the Penatgon," that could include car bombs and rocket fire at the airport as evacuation efforts wind down.
Decker says its unfair of Biden to point to the deal agreed to between the Taliban and former President Trump as the reason the Afghanistan situation has unfolded poorly.
"He could have re-negotiated the peace agreement with the Taliban," says Decker. "It is completely disingenuous to blame the former President for what has taken place here. In fact, he has actually implemented the Trump policy. The only change was extending the withdrawal date from May 1st to August 31, everything else remained the same."
