“If [Democrats] think that’s going to help them, they’re making a mistake,” says Hans von Spakovsky, Senior Legal Fellow at the Heritage Foundation. Spakovsky refers to a recent study done that compared States with different COVID mandates, and the results do not support the need for the return of mandates.
“Not only did it find that States that didn’t do [mandates] were economically way better off. They had no higher fatality rates, no higher infection rates,” Spakovsky says. “What these folks are doing is the wrong thing to do.”
Hans von Spakovsky joins the Marc Cox Morning show to talk returning COVID-19 mandates and also the upcoming Supreme Court decision on Rowe v. Wade.
