Democratic lawmakers are attempting to bypass the need for Republican votes through the use of budget reconciliation.
Senior Democratic officials are laying the groundwork for another massive economic relief package, proposing as much as $3 trillion in spending on jobs ad and infrastructure.
The package could include free tuition for community college, climate policy, adjustments to drug pricing, and major changes to the tax code.
