Governor Mike Parson called a special session to the Federal Reimbursement Allowance (FRA). He has warned a failure to renew the FRA would cost the state $591 million in the fiscal year 2022 and $788 million in the fiscal year 2023.
Missouri Senator Bob Onder claims the FRA being negotiated is insufficient in protecting the unborn.
Parson says his administration is not spending any money on Planned Parenthood, in fact, he claims Missouri is leading the fight against abortion.
“This is a bizarre situation… we’re almost looking for a problem to create… it’s unfortunate.”
