
A new poll shows Americans are very firm in their belief that former President Donald Trump both should and should not run again for the highest office in the land.
The poll, published by Quinnipiac, reaffirms that public opinion on Trump remains deeply divided along party lines, with 73% of Republicans responding that another Trump bid for President would be good for the country while 95% of Democrats think it would be bad.

As for independents, the majority of them are off the Trump bandwagon with just over 60% coming in on the “bad for the country” side.
The overall tally for all Americans also sits at 60% believing that a 2024 Trump campaign would be to the detriment of the country.
The poll also revealed that 54% of all responders do not believe current President Joe Biden will seek a second term in 2024.
To this point, Trump has been coy about any possible plans to run for a second term as Commander-In-Chief, but his political war chest is bursting at the seams if he decides to give it a go. According to a report published Saturday, Trump's political PACs have raised over $80 million in 2021 alone, and his total funding stands at over $102 million.
