Physician at Urgent Specialists and Gateway ENT Dr. Scott Hardeman said the COVID numbers in St. Louis and the Metro East are continuously declining. Both cases and hospitalizations have gone down in the area. There will be an ebb and flow because it is spring break time, but we have been on a downward trajectory which is a positive sign.
Hardeman said largely, most spread takes place at some super spreader event. However, many of the initial things we were practicing because we didn't know, like COVID being spread through surfaces or inanimate objects, we don't need to be worried about anymore because it has been proven false.
Dr. Hardeman answered listener questions about the new vaccine from AstraZeneca, distribution, and more.
