DeSoto doctor, Dr. Steve Crawford, talks about a new peer reviewed study that proves that Ivermectin and Hydroxychloroquine helps reduce death from COVID-19.

Dr. Crawford, a Doctor of Family Medicine at DeSoto Family Practice, said that "Well, there was an article that was reported in Epoch Times ,and it was about a peer reviewed study in Peru. And in October of 2020, in Peru, there was a preprint review of an Ivermectin study showing effectiveness against COVID-19, and it convinced a group of doctors that widespread use of Ivermectin could possibly end the pandemic. And it wasn't accepted because it wasn't peer reviewed, and it was disregarded, and it was treated like Ivermectin was there and basically prohibited." but "Since then, the study has been peer reviewed, and that's vindicating the use of ivermectin. And what the study found was that Ivermectin was incredibly effective, resulting in a 74% reduction in what they termed excess deaths in the ten Peruvian states where it was most widely used."

"Since 1987, there have been 3.7 billion doses given to humans, and with the hydroxychloroquine, over 5 billion...."It was recently restricted because they have newer malaria medicines. I've used it for over years, 40 years for malaria, for systemic lupus and rheumatoid arthritis. And like I said, I've used it personally, so I really wasn't frightened by it. My friends in Africa couldn't get hydroxychloroquine. They did have Ivermectin for their goats and their cattle. And what they did, I sent them the dosage per kilo. They treated their village, and they have 150 people, maybe 200. There were no deaths at all."

Crawford believes that "I'm convinced that the federal government twisted arms, they have control over reimbursement, and that's a big leverage.... when we talk about our death rate, compared to other countries, we were able to get treatment packs from India for my friends in Zimbabwe and whatit was, it was doxycycline, ivermectin and zinc. And in India, when they reported their death rates per million, it was 4.3. In the United States, It's 1596.3."

Crawford added that "My son in law sent me a copy of the French study, so I prepared for it before President Trump ever mentioned it .It was highly effective by the first of last year. This year I'd had over 1500 exposures, and I haven't come down with it yet."
