The hosts lead off the "St. Louis Morning Brief" analyzing St. Louis County Council’s $273,000 contract for AI software intended to identify municipal budget cuts across public works permitting and jail overtime, using the debate to contrast fiscal approaches ahead of County Council races. The discussion turns to commercial drone delivery expansion in Manchester, Missouri, where an upcoming public open house will address resident privacy and safety concerns surrounding Walmart delivery drones operating in suburban neighborhoods. The segment also covers an active investigation by the Major Case Squad following a deadly shooting at a youth football tournament outside Madison High School in the Metro East, which left a 64-year-old spectator dead and three others wounded. Wrapping up, the hosts react to the NHL and Fanatics unveiling the new "Hometown Remix" alternate jerseys—including the St. Louis Blues' Mississippi River-inspired black sweater set to debut November 17—debating team merchandising and rising fan jersey costs.
