ST. LOUIS (KMOX) — If you wanted to get your Christmas tree from Ted Drewes Frozen Custard this year, you're too late.
The famous St. Louis landmark is already out of Christmas trees for the entire season.
"I cannot get anymore," said Travis Dillon, president of Ted Drewes Inc. He was a guest of the Charlie Brennan Show with Amy Marxkors Tuesday morning.
Dillon says he started trying to get more Christmas trees about three weeks ago. However, he learned there's shortages in both America and Canada this season. In fact, he tells KMOX his order of trees was cut short.
He says both he and Ted Drewes are shocked trees sold out so fast, and that they feel bad for customers who won't be able to get a tree through them this year.
