97.1 The Ticket and Detroit PAL Middle School Combine at The Corner Ballpark

Are you ready for an action-packed event where young athletes will showcase their talent, develop new skills, and receive top-tier coaching?

This summer, 97.1 The Ticket is partnering with Detroit PAL to bring middle school students the Middle School Combine at the Corner, taking place at The Corner Ballpark on Wednesday, July 16.

97.1 The Ticket is excited to give young athletes in the community a space to showcase their talent, develop new skills and receive top-tier coaching.

Registration is open to all boys and girls in 1st-8th graders.

Students will have the opportunity to participate in -
Speed and agility testing featuring a 40-yard dash, vertical jump, broad jump, and push-ups
Skill development stations with position-specific drills for multiple sports
Small-sided competitions with one-on-one challenges and scrimmages
Guest speaker motivations from former athletes and coaches
Athlete swag including an event T-shirt and access to a hydration station
Awards ceremony recognizing top performers
