The Padres have selected the contract of Poway High School alum Alex Dickerson, which places him back on the Padres active roster. Dickerson was originally drafted by the Pittsburgh Pirates in the 3rd round of the 2011 amateur draft. He was quired by the Padres in 2013 in a trade that sent Jaff Decker and Miles Mikolas to the Pirates. In his two seasons played in the majors, Dickerson posts a .257/.331/.448 split with 10 home runs in 261 career at-bats.
