Tiger Is all the Way BackSunday, as my wife and I watched Tiger Woods put his final putt in the hole to win the Masters for the 5th time, you could only imagine what he was feeling after all his trials and tribulations. I know not everyone was or is a Tiger Woods fan and I totally understand that. I liked Tiger before all of his self-inflicted wounds and I am not going to judge him. He has to walk in his own shoes and it looks like he has recovered nicely after a long battle. Sports is all about getting up off the deck, getting back into the game and competing! That’s what he has done. Can’t imagine a better story from the sporting world in 2019Sockers Heading Into The PlayoffsCongratulations to the San Diego Sockers on winning the Western Division of the MASL and finishing with a league best 23-1 record. They will open the MASL playoffs this coming Friday night up in Tacoma, and then the two teams will play Sunday at Pechanga Arena. If they split the first two, there will be a mini-game immediately following the second game. It’s a best two out of three.Strike Force WinThe San Diego Strike Force of the Indoor Football League won their first game in franchise history with a 40-34 win over the Cedar Rapid River Kings on Sunday night at Pechanga Arena. The Strike Force at 1-6 will host the legendary Arizona Rattlers next Monday night April 22nd at 7:00 pm at The Pechanga Arena. The Padres getting People to take NoticeThe Padres have played well beyond expectations in the first month of the season. It has been fun to watch and it’s only going to get better as some young players get major league experience. People all over the baseball community are talking about Fernando Tatis Jr. and the Padres great infield. In my opinion, it is the best in franchise history. There is really no comparison; not even the two World Series squads. I am sitting back and enjoying the ride as it has been a long time for us Padres fans to really have something to cheer about. This franchise is just getting warmed up.Have a great week and I hope to see you at Petco Park. Coach Kentera
