Manny Machado was suspended one game by MLB on Monday afternoon after his altercation with umpire Bill Welke over the weekend in Denver. Machado will appeal his suspension.

Maki Makita and Franky Mejia are back. Nick Margevicius and Austin Allen were optioned, and in some concerning news, Franchy Cordero was placed on the 60-day IL.
