The Padres have jumped into the Manny Machado race as a late entrant and hope to sign the four-time All-Star, Manny Machado, as their primary third baseman, reports Kevin Acee of the San Diego Union-Tribune. After reports of the recent price for Machado being low, the Padres put their name in the hat and are now looking to sign the All-Star third baseman.
