Walking the south course at Torrey Pines you will see row after row of posh hospitality tents for VIP and corporate sponsors.   They are well appointed with catered meals and beverages along with seating and a great view of the action.  There is one that stands out from the rest.  It doesn't have a corporate logo, it's adorned with a huge American Flag. You need to show ID to enter, but it's not a corporate ID or ticket.  To gain entry to this area you need to show your active military ID.   It's called the Patriot's Outpost located on the 13th hole of the Farmers Insurance Open.  It's a special hospitality suite designated for our men and women in uniform and their guests.

It's operated by the Harbaugh Foundation that was founded by local San Diegans George and Betty Harbaugh.  We took a tour of the hospitality tent that is open for all active duty sailors, airmen, marines, soldiers and coast guardsmen during the golf tournament.   We got a chance to meet Joe Balla the foundation's director and Parker Cornell a Navy Seal who we talked to about Patriots Outpost.
