It's that time of the year everyone! Super Bowl commercial time. Personally, I think the commercials have not been good over the past few years, mainly because everyone is trying so hard to be smart, and witty. I think we all know what works: the basics. Stick to the basics advertisers!
Anyway, I think the best way to get attention for your commercial is to have it banned before the big game even happens! These commercials make more news for getting banned than than they would when people see them during the game.
I know that people love their commericals, but how many times have you caught every single commercial during the game? If you are at a party, it's going to be drowned out by conversations around you. If I am an advertiser, I am going to get my commercial banned from airing, because the power of social media will do the rest.
That's what happened with this ad below. It has been banned, and I don't think it's really that bad. It's simple, edgy, and funny. What do you think?
