Hello friends,
It's been a couple of weeks since I've blogged, thanks to Labor Day and another excuse I gave my boss, so I definitely wanted to get back to it this week. Mostly because it's totally voluntary and I adore blogging. So much. Also, I figured that if my cohost, the beloved Ben Higgins, could list his favorite golf courses over and over and over and over in blogs, I could do some of my favorite things on a week to week basis as well. So the general tone of this blog will change from sports, which we do plenty of from 5a-9a every day, to basically what I'm into: What I'm watching on TV, what I'm listening to, what I'm reading, etc. If you're into it, great. If not, also great. But I know I'm always down to discover new things or revisit old things as well, so here you go:
What I'm Watching:
The wife and I have been watching a new Showtime series starring Kirsten Dunst called "On Becoming A God In Central Florida" and it's phenomenal. I'm not seeing the love for it that I'm seeing for shows like "Succession" on HBO, but really it's phenomenal. If you remember "Amway" from the 80s...you'll love this show.
What I'm Listening To:
Right now...today? The Cars. I loved Rick Ocasek and the Cars so much, man. Such a tough loss yesterday. Not that they were putting out new music, but it felt like a piece of my youth died. So I'm currently listening to 1981's masterpiece "Shake it Up" album. SO many bangers on this record that didn't make the Greatest Hits.
What I'm Reading:
White by Bret Easton Ellis. It's um...different. It's not really a novel, but more of an op-ed. It's a slow read. Probably won't finish.
Hope you enjoyed my totally voluntary blog where I just list stuff I like!
