Get to know Dinelson Lamet
On Tuesday night, Padres starter Dinelson Lamet showed why his future is so bright, when he pitched one of the best games of his career, taking a no-hitter into the 7th inning. Lamet wasn't able to deliver the franchise's first ever no-hitter, but he earned his first win in nearly two years, striking out a career-high 12 batters while pitching 7 shutout innings against the Mariners. Lamet is now 1-2 with a 3.90 ERA, 1.27 WHIP and has struck out 42 batters in just 30 innings this season.
