Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, millions of Americans delayed medical appointments, causing a major decline in cancer screenings, diagnosis and treatment. The Community Oncology Alliance states that in 2020 there was an 85 percent decline in breast cancer screenings and a 75 percent decline in colon cancer screenings. They’re partnering with Cancer Care to launch Time to Screen, a campaign to encourage adults to schedule screenings they may have missed.
