Alzheimer’s Disease touches so many families right here in our community: More than 60,000 people in San Diego and Imperial counties are currently living with Alzheimer’s, and over 160,000 family members and friends are providing care.
The Alzheimer’s Association is leading the way to end Alzheimer’s and all other dementia, through research, care, and support — and one of the biggest ways the community can get involved is through the Walk to End Alzheimer’s.
Ryan Cottingham, Chair of the Executive Leadership Team for the Walk to End Alzheimer’s San Diego and Imperial County, has a very personal connection to this disease, and he shares his story, the impact of the Alzheimer’s Association, and how each of us can be part of the fight for a world without Alzheimer’s.
