After raising the program's National Finalist banner inside Viejas Arena to commemorate last season's run to the Final Four, the San Diego State Aztecs cruised to an 83-57 win against Cal State Fullerton to begin the 2023-2024 season.
The Aztecs opened the game with a 14-0 run, but only led 37-35 at halftime.
San Diego State then put together a dominant second half and shot 52% from the floor during the game's final 20 minutes.
Jaedon LeDee finished with 27 points and 10 rebounds, while Micah Parrish scored 17 points. Reese Waters scored 15 points in his Aztec debut.
The Aztecs continue the non-conference schedule with a game against BYU in Provo, Utah on Friday evening. Opening tip is at 6 p.m.
