Although the focus of Ohio State's Pro Day was on the Buckeyes dynamic receiver duo Chris Olave and Garrett Wilson, one NFL scout was reportedly impressed by the Buckeyes quarterback C.J. Stroud who impressed those in attendance while he was throwing to Olave and Wilson.

According to ESPN's Matt Miller, he was talking to an evaluator who was in attendance and asked him who stood out. Instead of saying Wilson and Olave, Stroud's name was brought up first, calling the redshirt sophomore quarterback "amazing."
If this statement is true, it is a good sign for Stroud and Buckeye fans. In only his freshman season, Stroud was a Heisman Trophy finalist and threw it all over the field, accounting for 4,435 yards and 44 touchdowns to just six interceptions. He did this all while completing more than 70% of his passes.
Houston Texans head coach Lovie Smith along with Titans coach Mike Vrabel, were both spotted chatting it up with Stroud after he was done for the day. Both teams certainly have a need at quarterback and I'm sure that they will take a look at the California-native come 2023.
It certainly doesn't hurt when you have Olave, Wilson and Jaxon Smith-Njigba to throw the ball to. Here are some of the best reactions and notable highlights from Stroud's performance at OSU's Pro Day:
