According to multiple reports, Giants quarterback Daniel Jones is battling a neck strain and his status is in doubt for Sunday’s game against the Dolphins.
New York, just one game back of the final playoff spot in the NFC, is preparing for backup Mike Glennon to make the Week 13 start against Miami, according to NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero.

Jones suffered the injury on the second play of the game in the Giants’ Week 12 win against the Eagles, but stayed in the game and finished 19-for-30 with 202 passing yards and a touchdown in the 13-7 victory. On the season, the 24-year-old has 2,428 yards through the air with 10 touchdowns and seven interceptions.
Glennon has appeared in one game for Big Blue this season, completing 16 of 25 passing attempts with a touchdown and two picks during a Week 5 blowout loss to the Cowboys. The 32-year-old veteran made five starts for the Jaguars last season, throwing for 1,072 yards with seven touchdowns and five interceptions.
