Tom Brady doesn't have many blemishes on his resume, outside the two Super Bowl losses he's taken to Eli Manning. The most memorable of those upsets came during the 2007 season when the Patriots managed to blow what could have been a 19-0 perfect season in the waning minutes of Super Bowl XLII.

During an appearance on Julian Edelman's new podcast Games with Names, Manning joked that Brady must hate his mom because he and Peyton were always in his way of winning another ring.

“[Tom Brady] hates us (Eli and Peyton Manning). He hates my mom,” Eli joked on the podcast. “If it weren’t for Olivia Manning, Tom would have like 12 Super Bowls probably.”

Although Peyton never met Brady in the big game, the elder Manning spent his entire career in the AFC -- making multiple Super Bowl appearances during that time span and ultimately denying Brady.

Despite missing out on a few more rings, it's safe to say that Brady has had a successful career in the NFL, amassing 7 Super Bowl titles and countless other accolades during 20+ decades.

While cracking jokes at Brady's expense, Manning doesn't hold any grudges from the game 14 years ago, mentioning how it's "impossible" to hate on a guy like Brady.

“We respect Tom. What’s to hate about him? Just a perfectly good looking guy who throws spirals and wins games. How do you hate that guy?”
