They don’t call him “Joe Brr” for nothing.
The Cincinnati Bengals jumped out to an early 14-0 lead over the Buffalo Bills in a snowy Highmark Stadium in Sunday’s Divisional Round playoff game, courtesy of Joe Burrow.
The Bengals QB was unfazed by the weather conditions and could not have had a more perfect start to the game, literally, completing all nine of his first passes for 105 yards and two touchdowns in the first quarter.
Burrow’s streak came to an end on his third drive of the game, but the damage was already done and tone was set as the Bengals looked to pull off an upset over the Bills.
His hot start to the game also came behind an offensive line that was missing three starters due to injury.
Needless to say, Burrow had social media buzzing early on with his hot start.
The Bills have plenty of time to come back, but if Burrow is going to have this kind of success on the road and in the snow, the Bills could be in trouble.
