
The San Diego State Aztecs used a big second half to beat the Saint Mary's Gaels on Friday night at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, cruising to a 79-54 win.
The Aztecs held a one-point lead at halftime, but proceeded to outscore Saint Mary's 45-21 in the second half. San Diego State is now 3-1 in non-conference play.
San Diego State received key performances from Jaedon LeDee and Reese Waters. LeDee scored a game-high 25 points, while Waters scored 19 points and hit a trio of three-pointers.
Micah Parrish was the other Aztec to score in double figures, finishing with 11 points. The Aztecs shot 52% from the floor and 43% from three-point range.
The Aztecs will play in the championship game of the Continental Tire Main Event on Sunday at 7 p.m. against Washington.
