Jaedon LeDee scored after an offensive rebound as time expired on Friday night against UC San Diego, propelling the San Diego State Aztecs to a thrilling 63-62 win at LionTree Arena.
The Aztecs trailed by 14 points with more than seven minutes remaining in the game, but finished the second half on a 20-5 run and won the game on LeDee's buzzer beater.
Micah Parrish, Elijah Saunders, Lamont Butler, and LeDee all scored in double figures for San Deigo State. Parrish and LeDee collected double-doubles with 10 rebounds each.
Francis Nwaokorie, Bryce Pope, and Hayden Gray each had 15 points for the Tritons.
The Aztecs improved to 7-1 and will play at Grand Canyon on Tuesday evening at 7 p.m. The Tritons dropped to 4-4 and will host Occidental on Tuesday at 6 p.m.
