Myles Garrett wants to see if Nick Chubb could top Derrick Henry with same amount of carries

Having two top-tier running backs like Nick Chubb and Kareem Hunt is a luxury that not many teams, if any at all, can boast. The Browns are extremely lucky to have both of them in the backfield, each with certain skill sets that can optimize the team's offensive attack in any given situation. The one drawback? You can't quite see what Chubb would do — or Hunt, for that matter — in a backfield where he was the lone star.

Take the Tennessee Titans backfield, for that matter. Sure, you've got Darrynton Evans and Jeremy McNichols there, but no one is going to take away any carries from Derrick Henry. There's a reason he led the NFL in rushing attempts (303), rushing yards (1,540) and rushing touchdowns (16) in 2019, only to follow that effort with a jaw-dropping and league-leading 378 attempts, 2,027 yards and 17 touchdowns.

Those are insane numbers, and you'd be hard-pressed to find too many people that don't view Henry as the king (no pun intended) among the league's running backs. But Chubb, in just 190 attempts, totaled 1,067 yards and 12 touchdowns. If we want to get mathematical here and boost those numbers to equal the 378 attempts that Henry had, Chubb's counting stats would rocket up to 2,123 yards and 24 touchdowns.

That's why Chubb ranked No. 26 on the NFL Top 100 Players in 2021 countdown. And that's why Myles Garrett wants to know just how good Chubb could be with a similar workload.

"I would just like to see him get the same amount of touches as Derrick," Garrett said (head to the 1:38 mark in the video below). "See stat-for-stat who comes out on top, because I know he has the ability to, and he's shown it."

Chubb joined Jarvis Landry (No. 94) and Baker Mayfield (No. 71) as the Browns to make the list at this point in the countdown.
