Over the weekend, 2023 quarterback recruit, Arch Manning ended the month with a visit to Athens and the Georgia Bulldogs. Manning, a 5-star 247Sports composite recruit, is the nephew of Peyton and Eli Manning, is considered the No. 1 quarterback in the class of 2023 and ranked No. 3 nationally.
According to reports, Manning’s visit to Athens included dinner with UGA head coach Kirby Smart and several members of the Bulldogs’ coaching staff.
On top of Georgia being on the Isidore Newman quarterback's list of schools, Manning and his family have long-time relationships with the likes of Smart, who is good friends with Peyton Manning, and offensive line coach Matt Luke and senior analyst, Will Muschamp, who the Manning family has known for a long while. Manning also got the opportunity to talk football with Georgia offensive coordinator Todd Monken and spent some time with current Bulldogs Tate Ratledge and Sedrick Van Pran and spoke with JT Daniels briefly.
