The future of the San Diego Loyal has been in question since the news was announced that an MLS team would be coming to San Diego in 2025. After much speculation, the Loyal announced on Thursday that this will be the team's final season. San Diego Loyal SC Chairman Andrew Vassiliadis announced the news on Thursday shortly after reports surfaced on social media, saying that he's proud of what the team has accomplished so far in its 3 seasons, and has looked at solutions up and down the west coast, but concluded this will be the team's final season.
