The Padres defeated the Twins 3-2 on Sunday, earning a 2-1 series win. Sean Manaea struck out 7 and allowed 2 runs over 6 innings, earning a quality start. Jurickson Profar hit his 11 home run of the season, a solo shot in the 3rd to put the Padres on top 1-0. After Manaea gave up a solo homer in the 5th and 6th innings, the Padres rallied for 2 runs in the bottom of the 6th inning on RBI-singles from Jake Cronenworth and Luke Voit. The Padres' bullpen combined for 3 scoreless innings, and Luis Garcia earned his first save of the season, pitching a perfect 9th inning in the team's first save opportunity since Taylor Rogers was removed from the role.
