Padres earn first 4-game winning streak with sweep of A's

The Padres swept the A's thanks to a 10-1 victory on Sunday, and earned their first 4-game winning streak of the season in the process. The Padres went with a bullpen game and held the Athletics scoreless until the 9th inning. Juan Soto had one of his best games of the season, going 3-5 with 2 home runs and 6 RBIs, including his first career grand slam in the 8th inning. The Padres totaled 13 hits and went 5-13 with runners in scoring position. The Padres will return home for the final homestand of the season, and face the Rockies beginning on Monday.
