The Padres lost to the Marlins 4-0 on Saturday night, as Marlins starter Pablo Lopez held the Friars at bay with 8 shutout innings. Marlins rookie Joe Dunand hit his first Major League home run, a solo shot in the 3rd inning, and Garrett Cooper added on a 2-run double in the 5th. Miami added 5 runs in the 9th inning, including a grand slam from Jorge Soler. The Padres will have a chance to win this 4-game series on Sunday when they send Joe Musgrove to the mound.
