The Padres had another disheartening loss on Sunday, blowing a 4-2 lead en route to a sweep at the hands of the Brewers. Things unraveled in the bottom of the 6th inning when Michael Wacha was lifted with 1 out and runners on 1st and 2nd. Steven Wilson walked the next batter to load the bases, followed by a pinch-hit 2-run double from Rowdy Tellez to tie the game. Carlos Santana would draw a bases loaded walk later in the inning to give the Brewers a 5-4 lead. Sal Frelick added a 2-run double, and Mark Canha drove in a run with a bloop single, as the Brewers flipped the script with a 7-run inning. That inning would prove to be the difference in the game, as the Padres fell even further out of the wild card picture. They'll now fly to St. Louis for a 3-game series against the Cardinals.
