The Padres defeated the Braves 7-3 on Sunday, after trailing 3-0 after 4 innings, as the Padres took 2 of 3 from the defending champion Braves. Joe Musgrove had another quality start, and Wil Myers had 2 hits and 3 RBIs, after hitting a home run on Saturday. The Padres tied the game in the 7th inning on a sac-fly from Austin Nola. The game went into extra innings, and the Padres were able to push 4 runs across the plate in the top of the 11th, which proved to be plenty of cushion for Taylor Rogers in the bottom half of the innings. The Padres improved to 22-13 on the season. The Friars have an off day on Monday before starting a 3-game series against the Phillies on Tuesday.
