San Diego State notched a signature victory, beating #13 Gonzaga in Spokane 84-74. Reese Waters led the Aztecs in scoring with 22 points, including 3 of 5 from beyond the 3-point arc, while Jaedon LeDee poured in 20 points of his own. Darrion Trammell was huge off the bench, as he was the only other Aztec to score in double figures with 17 points of his own.
SDSU held a 1-point lead at the half, but was able to pour it on in the second half and pull away for a 10-point win. The Aztecs improved to 11-2 with the victory, and will return home to host Fresno State on Wednesday.
