San Diego State extended its winning streak to five with a 23-0 win on the road against Fresno State on Saturday, and improving to 6-1 on the season. Jayden Denegal had an unspectacular day through the air, completing just under 58% of his passes for 129 yards and an interception, but the Aztecs were able to control the game through their rushing attack. Lucky Sutton ran for 131 yards and a score, with the Aztecs combining for 208 yards on the ground.

San Diego State's defense continued to be a bright spot, pitching its third shutout of the season. It was still a two possession game halfway through the 4th quarter, but Tano Letuli's pick-six sealed the deal and put the game well out of reach for the Bulldogs. Up next for San Diego State is a home date with the Wyoming Cowboys on Saturday.
