According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, the defending Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs have signed former San Diego State punter Matt Araiza. The left-footed punter was a standout for the Aztecs, before being selected in the 6th round of the 2022 NFL Draft by the Buffalo Bills. The Bills released Araiza prior to the start of the season after allegations of sexual assault were raised against Araiza. But no charges were ultimately brought against Araiza, paving his way for a return to the NFL.
