SDFC's magical first season will continue after the expansion club advanced past Minnesota with a 1-0 win at Snapdragon Stadium on Monday night in the conference semifinals. The two teams were locked in a defensive matchup deep into the match. Then, in the 72nd minute, who else but Anders Dreyer scored the first goal of the match on an absolute missile from inside the box following a brilliant save by Corey Baird.
San Diego will now face Vancouver on Saturday night at 6 pm at Snapdragon Stadium in the conference finals.
