The #24 San Diego State Aztecs beat the Occidental Tigers on Friday evening at Viejas Arena, 95-57.

The Aztecs outscored the 59-26 in the first half, shooting 63% from the floor in the opening 20 minutes. San Diego State ultimately shot 52% as a team during the game and hit 19 three-pointers.


Adam Seiko led the Aztecs in scoring with 20 points and six three-pointers. Micah Parrish was the only other player to score in double figures, collecting 14 points and making four three-pointers. Matt Bradley and Lamont Butler also recorded nine points each.

It was a big night for the Aztec bench, which scored 53 points as a unit. San Diego State also held a +15 rebounding margin.

San Diego State improved to 6-2 in non-conference play, winning a second straight game after beating UC Irvine on Tuesday.

The Aztecs return to action on Monday against Troy at Viejas Arena. Opening tip is at 7 p.m.
