The LSU baseball was treated to a visit from arguably one of the most popular sports figures in Louisana state history during the Tigers' final game of their series against Georgia.

Drew Brees made a visit to Baton Rouge, joining the squad to give a fiery pre-game speech with the same heart and passion he had during his playing days.

During his speech, the future Hall of Famer reminded the guys of the reason they came to LSU and what it means to play for a program that has won six College World Series titles, with their last appearance being in 2017. He also brought out one of his signature huddle chants he used to hype up his teams in New Orleans.

Afterwards, Brees threw out the first pitch at Alex Box Stadium in front of a loud Tigers' home crowd.

One of the funniest moments from Brees' visit to campus included a picture he took with the Tigers' third baseman Jacob Berry who looks eerily similar to the former Saints QB.

Berry was also spotted signing some autographs for Brees' kids.

Brees' name has been in the headlines recently as he was named as a potential replacement for Troy Aikman on Fox in a report from the New York Post despite only being a year removed from starting his broadcasting career at NBC.

Reports also surfaced last season that the Saints were allegedly looking to bring Brees back in as their starting QB. However, the 43-year-old opted to continue his future in broadcasting.

LSU went on to win the beat Georgia, 4-3.
