The 54-year-old, known for her work with the ASPCA, is featured in a new advertisement created by Ryan Reynolds’ digital marketing company, Maximum Effort for Bolt.com.

McLachlan lends her heart-tugging expertise for the new company which is determined to make online shopping even easier by lessening the number of abandoned online shopping carts.

"Every day, 70% of all online shopping carts are abandoned at the checkout page,” McLachlan somberly explains. “Victims of a cruel and exhausting checkout process."

She goes on to detail the multi-step checkout process that involves shipping addresses, billing details, email confirmations, CVV numbers and more, which prompts shoppers to just abandon their cart.

McLachlan encourages viewers to give carts “warmth and care” by joining Bolt.com which offers a one-click shopping experience.

"Go to Bolt.com... come on, we got Sarah f***ing McLachlan,” the ad concludes with a male voice pleading for customers through song.

Clearly a play on her ASPCA commercials highlighting homeless animals, it isn’t all jokes for Bolt.com. The company has made a $50,000 donation to the ASPCA.

Additionally, they have launched Bolt.com/carts where users can purchase “Rescue Cart“ merchandise using discount code, ABANDONEDCARTS. For every item sold, Bolt will donate $10 to the ASPCA, up to an additional $50,000.
